for using AlternaPOS

1. Acceptance of Terms

These terms and conditions (the "Terms") apply to all AlternaPOS services: the cashier application for Android devices, the Admin Dashboard Website at alternapos.my.id, and the store's Self-Order website (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. We strongly recommend you read and understand these Terms before using the Service.

2. Definitions

"We" or "Service Provider" means the developer and operator of AlternaPOS. "You" means the business owner, admin, or cashier using the Service. "Application" means the AlternaPOS cashier app for Android. "Dashboard" means the Admin Dashboard Website. "Self-Order" means the store's self-ordering website. "Content" means all data, text, images, and information you enter into the Service.

3. Eligibility & User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old or authorized to represent the business you register. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information and keep your account credentials confidential. An account may have multiple users with different roles (Admin/Owner and Cashier). For security, one account can only be active on one device (single device session). You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Copying, modifying the Application, or our trademarks without permission is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to extract source code, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions is not allowed. All trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights remain the property of the Service Provider.

5. Permitted & Prohibited Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes. You must not: (a) use the Service for illegal activity, fraud, or money laundering; (b) reverse engineer, damage, or interfere with the security or performance of the Service; (c) access other users' data without permission; (d) abuse features, quota, or the payment system; or (e) distribute malware or otherwise harm other parties.

6. Content & User Responsibility

You are fully responsible for the Content you enter, including product names and photos, prices, transaction data, customer information, and store settings. You warrant that such Content does not infringe the rights of others and complies with applicable regulations. We are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate or unlawful Content.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service Provider reserves the right to modify the Service or adjust fees at any time, and any fees will be clearly communicated. The Service uses official third parties: Google (Google Play Services, Google Play Billing for plan purchases, and Google Sign-In for signing in with a Google account), an AI service provider for the AI Analysis feature, and server and email infrastructure providers. Your use of those third-party services is also subject to their respective terms. Your business data is stored on AlternaPOS servers.

8. Manual Payments & Self-Order

AlternaPOS uses manual payments that you configure yourself (cash, bank transfer, static QRIS, e-wallet, or EDC) and does not provide a built-in payment gateway. You are responsible for verifying that payment is actually received before processing an order or completing a transaction, including orders that arrive through Self-Order. We are not liable for transfer errors, invalid payment proof, or payment disputes between you and your customers.

9. Account, Subscription & Payment

AlternaPOS provides a Free plan that can be used at no cost, as well as paid plans (Max and Unlimited) that add product, transaction, and AI quota. All core features are open on every plan; plans differ only by quota. Paid plans are purchased through Google Play Billing in the Android app and can be managed or canceled through your Google Play account. Product quota does not reset monthly, while transaction and AI quota follow a monthly cycle. If a subscription ends, the store automatically returns to the Free quota. Purchases are non-refundable except as required by law or Google Play policy.

10. AI Analysis Feature

The AI Analysis feature provides analysis and suggestions based on your business data. Its output is informative and does not constitute binding financial, accounting, or legal advice. You are responsible for verifying the results before making business decisions. Use of this feature is subject to the AI quota of your plan.

11. Service Availability & Disclaimer

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, including providing offline mode. However, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. We may perform maintenance, updates, or temporarily suspend some features for repairs.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, loss of data, or business losses arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. Our liability, if any, is limited to the subscription fees you paid during the relevant period.

13. Indemnification

You agree to release and indemnify the Service Provider from any claims, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, unauthorized use of the Service, or infringement of third-party rights by you or your customers.

14. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if there is a breach of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or a legal obligation to do so. You may also stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your license rights end and you must delete the Application from your device; the provisions on intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute will first be pursued through amicable settlement. If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be resolved through the applicable mechanism under Indonesian law.
