1. What is the Admin Dashboard Website?

The AlternaPOS Admin Dashboard Website is a web page designed to help business owners monitor and manage their business through a broader display.

While the Android app is used for daily transactions, managing products, and recording sales — the Admin Dashboard Website is used to view business data more comprehensively through a browser on a laptop, computer, tablet, or phone.

View business summaries and financial reports

2. Getting the Business Identity Barcode from the Android App

Before using the Admin Dashboard Website, you need to get the Business Identity Barcode from the AlternaPOS Android app. This barcode serves as access to connect business data to the dashboard website.

  1. Open the AlternaPOS app on Android.
  2. Go to the Settings menu.
  3. Look for Business Identity or Admin Dashboard Barcode.
  4. Get the available barcode.
  5. Save the barcode securely.
  6. This barcode will be used to add a workspace on the dashboard website.

The Business Identity Barcode is the access key for the dashboard website to read and display store data from the AlternaPOS app.

3. Opening the AlternaPOS Website

  1. Open a browser on your laptop, computer, tablet, or phone.
  2. Go to the official website: alternapos.my.id
  3. Find the Login menu.
  4. Click the login menu to enter the Admin Dashboard page.

4. Creating an Admin Dashboard Account

If you don't have a dashboard website account yet, create one first:

  1. Go to the Admin Dashboard login page.
  2. Select the Register or Create Account menu.
  3. Enter your email and password.
  4. Confirm your account data, then press the register button.
  5. If successful, you will enter the Admin Dashboard Website page.

The Admin Dashboard account is used to manage the list of workspaces or business access you want to monitor.

5. Logging in to the Admin Dashboard

  1. Open the Admin Dashboard login page.
  2. Enter your registered email.
  3. Enter your password.
  4. Press the Login button.
  5. If successful, you will enter the main dashboard view.

6. Adding a Workspace Using the Barcode

A workspace is a work area or store access connected to business data from the AlternaPOS Android app.

  1. Go to the Workspace page.
  2. Select Add Workspace or Add Access menu.
  3. Enter or scan the barcode previously obtained from the Android app.
  4. Confirm workspace access.
  5. If successful, business data will be connected to the Admin Dashboard Website.

One dashboard account can store multiple workspaces. You can add more than one store or business account without limits.

7. Workspace List

On the Workspace page, you can view the list of business workspaces that have been added:

View connected stores or businesses
Add new workspaces
Select which workspace to manage
Access business data based on the selected workspace
Manage multiple stores from one dashboard account

This feature is very useful for business owners who have more than one store or want to monitor multiple business accounts in one dashboard.

The Overview menu displays a general overview of business performance:

Profit — business earnings
Charts & Analytics — data in graphical form
12-month trend chart
Income and expense summary
Transaction summary

The Overview menu helps business owners quickly see business conditions without opening multiple pages.

9. KPI Summary

KPI Summary displays key business metrics:

Total income and expenses
Net balance
Number of transactions and products sold
Profit or earnings
Business growth over a specific period

With KPI Summary, business owners can quickly and easily understand business conditions.

10. Profit, Charts, and Analytics

This section is used to view business performance in data and chart form:

Sales growth
Income and expense comparison
Transaction trends
Business performance over time
Profit analysis

Charts make business data easier to understand because you not only see numbers but also patterns and trends.

11. 12-Month Trend Chart

The dashboard provides a 12-month trend chart:

View business growth month by month
Compare sales performance
See increases or decreases in income
Help make business decisions

Business owners can see which months are busiest and which months need sales improvement.

The Finance menu is used to monitor and control business financial data:

13. Finance Overview

Displays a business financial summary:

14. Payroll

Used to help view or manage payment data related to cashiers or employees. This feature can be customized according to system needs and business usage.

15. Transaction

The Transaction menu displays all transaction data coming from the AlternaPOS app:

Income and expense transactions
Transaction details
Payment method
Cashier name
Date and payment amount

Admins can check transactions without opening the Android app.

16. Audit Log Finance

Audit Log records important activities on financial data:

Transaction data changes
Transaction deletions
Report-related activities
Data change history

Audit log helps business owners control data for better security and transparency.

Admins can monitor the product catalog through the website with a broader display.

20. Inventory Audit Log

History of stock or product changes:

Stock increased or decreased
Products edited or archived
Changes to variants, prices, or product information

ONLINE ORDERS MENU

Orders coming from the self-order website

21. Online Orders Menu

Shows orders coming from your store's self-order website:

Customer order list with arrival time
Customer name, notes, and ordered products
Payment method and payment status
Payment proof uploaded by the customer
Online order audit: who processed or rejected, including timestamps

Once processed, the order is recorded as a transaction in the app, so stock is deducted automatically.

22. Store Profile Menu

View store information entered from the AlternaPOS app:

User account profile
Business information and store identity
Payment methods
Payment status
Cashier information
Tax & discounts

System status

23. Account, Business, and Payment Information

Admins can view account data, business information, and the store payment methods: Cash, Bank transfer, E-wallet, QRIS, and EDC.

24. Cashier Info, Tax, and Others

The dashboard displays cashier information, tax settings, discounts, and store social media that appear on receipts.

25. System Status

View system conditions or connected data status: sync status, connection, data, and integration.

OTHER MENU

26. Logout, Sync, and Language

Logout: Exit the dashboard account.

Sync: Update data so the displayed information matches the latest data from the app.

Language: Dashboard supports Indonesian and English.

BARCODE SECURITY

27. Barcode Security Warning

The Business Identity Barcode is private and confidential. This barcode is used as access to connect business data to the Admin Dashboard Website. Do not share the barcode with unknown people or unauthorized parties. If the barcode is leaked, others could potentially gain access to your business workspace.

28. If the Barcode Has Been Leaked

  1. Open the AlternaPOS Android app.
  2. Go to Settings → Business Identity.
  3. Look for Refresh Barcode, Update Barcode, or Request New Link option.
  4. Create a new business identity barcode.
  5. Save the new barcode securely.
  6. Do not reuse the old barcode.

By updating the barcode, you can secure workspace access again and prevent the old barcode from being used by unwanted parties.
